Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer for a 1-year contract in Montgomery, Alabama, with the potential for renewal. This role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting applications to meet organizational goals. Candidates must be available to work on-site at our Montgomery main office and participate in both video and in-person interviews as needed. The role requires a standard background check and drug screening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications in line with project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and testing processes.
- Document development activities and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Adhere to security and compliance standards, including SOALEWS, E-Verify, and background check protocols.
Required Skills, Education, Certifications:
- Proven experience as an Application Developer or similar role (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working in government or enterprise environments is a plus.
