Top Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in spectrum management, radio communications, or frequency planning
- Familiarity with national and international spectrum regulatory frameworks
- Knowledge of radio frequency propagation, signal behavior, and radio equipment
- Experience with spectrum management tools and databases (e.g., SPECTRUM XXI, PR-200, Spectrum Guard Pro)
- Valid Secret clearance and IAT Level II certifications (e.g., CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, SSCP)
- Certifications such as Spectrum XXI, Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager (25E) Course, or similar experience

Description
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a Frequency Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the use of the radio frequency spectrum for government operations. This includes allocating frequencies, ensuring regulatory compliance, preventing interference, and supporting the operational needs of various government agencies, particularly in defense, emergency services, and public communications.
Specific job duties include:
· Manage frequency assignments and allocations in accordance with national and international regulations.
· Coordinate spectrum usage with military, civil, and emergency service stakeholders.
· Monitor spectrum usage to detect and resolve interference issues.
· Develop and implement spectrum plans to support operational, tactical, and strategic communications.
· Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., the Federal Communications Commission or national spectrum authorities) on licensing and policy matters.
· Support spectrum coordination for exercises, events, or emergency situations.
· Maintain accurate frequency databases and documentation.
· Analyze future spectrum needs and make recommendations for planning and policy development.
· Ensure compliance with international agreements (e.g., ITU regulations).
· Provide technical guidance and training on spectrum management tools and procedures.

6 month temp to perm, 130K conversion salary, subject to internal processes.
