We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven HRIS & Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations and HR systems reporting. As a key leader, you will oversee HRIS data integrity, payroll accuracy, reporting analytics, and system optimization, ensuring compliance and delivering actionable insights that support business decisions. This is a highly visible role requiring collaboration across HR, Finance, and business leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead HRIS reporting and analytics, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable insights for stakeholders
- Oversee data integrity and governance within HRIS and payroll systems
- Manage and supervise end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Review and approve payroll calculations, adjustments, and audits with a high degree of accuracy
- Drive system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and configuration changes within HRIS platforms
- Translate complex data into clear business insights to support strategic decision-making
- Lead year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing, reporting, and audits
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring consistent execution of HRIS and payroll processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong experience in HRIS reporting and data analysis(critical requirement)
- Proven leadership experience with team management or supervision
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Experience managing payroll operations (multi-state preferred)
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
- Experience with reporting tools such as IBM Cognos or similar platforms
- Familiarity with SQL, SQR, or other data query/reporting tools (preferred)
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Experience optimizing HRIS systems and payroll workflows
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Experience working in cross-functional, enterprise environments
