This Fortune 500 Utilities Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Project Manager to support the Information Security PMO. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and integrating cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
The Project Manager will partner closely with technical project leads and stakeholders to track project execution, ensure adherence to PMO standards, and promote project management excellence across Information Security initiatives. This position also plays a key role in quality assurance, operational reviews, and metrics reporting to ensure consistent delivery and governance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and manage cross-functional Information Technology and Information Security projects.
Track and manage project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
Facilitate and lead meetings with technical teams, project leads, and business stakeholders.
Support the Information Security PMO by applying established project management standards, processes, and tools.
Develop and enhance standards, processes, and tools to drive project management excellence across Information Security programs and initiatives.
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure project management standards are consistently followed.
Provide guidance and insight to project teams to ensure standards are applied appropriately and effectively.
Conduct operational reviews of IT and Information Security areas to assess performance and compliance.
Collect, review, and report project and operational metrics to support transparency and decision-making.
Ensure consistent application of governance practices across the Information Security project portfolio.
Proven experience managing cross-functional IT projects with significant scope and impact.
Strong experience tracking project schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues.
Experience supporting or working within a PMO environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and apply project management standards, processes, and tools.
Experience performing QA or compliance checks on project delivery and governance.
Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Experience supporting Information Security or Cybersecurity projects.
Familiarity with IT operational reviews and performance assessments.
Experience collecting and reporting project and portfolio metrics.
Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments.
Strong ability to influence without direct authority.
Experience collaborating with technical project leads and senior stakeholders.
