Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our passionate kitchen team. The ideal candidate has strong culinary skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about working with fresh, seasonal ingredients. This role requires professionalism, consistency, and a team-first mentality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items to Semolina’s standards of quality and presentation
- Work cleanly and efficiently during service on the assigned station
- Assist with prep, stocking, and organization of the kitchen
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with chefs and other line cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute to menu specials and seasonal changes when needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years line cook experience in a high-volume or farm-to-table restaurant
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and plating standards with precision
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights and weekends
- Passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced food
