Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and outgoing Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining an efficient flow of service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
• Manage reservations and walk-ins, using our reservation system
• Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure an even workflow for the servers
• Assist guests with special requests and accommodate their needs
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service
• Provide information about the menu and our farm-to-table philosophy
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly
• Uphold the restaurant’s standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of reservation systems is a plus
• A passion for sustainable dining and farm-to-table cuisine is highly desirable

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
