Key Responsibilities
- Perform neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and evoked potentials to assist in diagnosing neurological disorders.
- Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Record, analyze, and interpret neurophysiological data for physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and results in compliance with hospital policies.
- Proven experience performing neurodiagnostic procedures
- Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and related medical conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and technical skills
- Compassionate patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities
- Graduate of an accredited neurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent structured education with supervised clinical training
- BLS Certification (can be obtained upon hire)
- Registered in EEG through ABRET or in NCS through ASET within 3 years from date of hire
- At least one (1) year experience performing EEG and/or NCS in an outpatient setting, preferred
- Current ABRET R.EEG T. or other nationally recognized nerve conduction credentials, preferred
