An established and rapidly growing coffee brand is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and scale operations across a multi-unit organization. This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape operational strategy, drive profitability, enhance guest experiences, and support continued growth throughout the region.

This position requires relocation within North Carolina.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership for all company-owned locations. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this individual will oversee field operations, drive financial performance, develop operational systems, and build a culture focused on excellence, accountability, and guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is an inspirational leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while supporting continued expansion and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all field operations across multiple locations and markets.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that support company growth and profitability objectives.
- Drive consistent execution of brand standards, customer experience initiatives, and operational excellence.
- Partner with executive leadership on long-term business planning, expansion initiatives, and organizational development.
- Analyze key performance indicators and implement action plans to improve sales, profitability, labor efficiency, and operational performance.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Directors, Regional Managers, and operational leaders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee labor management, staffing strategies, retention initiatives, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Marketing, Training, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support company objectives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiencies, and enhance profitability.
- Lead change management initiatives and support organizational growth efforts.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive multi-unit operations leadership experience.
- Executive-level experience within coffee, quick-service restaurants, fast casual, hospitality, retail, or consumer-facing multi-location businesses.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams across multiple locations and markets.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance and operational budgets.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, improve operational metrics, and increase profitability.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
- Experience supporting growth, expansion, and organizational scaling initiatives.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
