With a strong reputation for innovation, responsiveness, and portfolio performance, the firm continues to redefine modern property management in New York City.Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily portfolio in New York City. This individual will work closely with the Senior Property Manager and collaborate directly with ownership and operational partners to ensure efficient property performance, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate will have strong experience within NYC multifamily real estate, including exposure to tenant relations, building operations, compliance management, vendor coordination, leasing renewals, and financial oversight. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations of assigned multifamily properties, ensuring a high level of tenant service and operational efficiencyAssist in managing tenant relations, communications, and issue resolutionCoordinate and oversee building staff, including maintenance, leasing, and administrative personnelMonitor preventative maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, and vendor performanceReview and track building compliance matters, including DOB, ECB, FDNY, and HPD violationsEnsure timely submission of required compliance documentation and corrective actionsConduct move-in and move-out inspections and routine property inspectionsCoordinate and supervise completion of work orders and tenant access requestsAssist with lease renewals, vacancy leasing efforts, and resident retention initiativesPrepare written tenant correspondence and support resident communicationsManage vendor invoices, payables, and service contract administrationPrepare and review budgeting, expense tracking, and P&L to help drive property performanceMaintain accurate records and reporting within property management systemsQualifications3 years of multifamily property management experience within New York City, with multisite experienceStrong understanding of NYC real estate operations, compliance requirements, and local housing regulationsProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication, customer service, and follow-through skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, and YardiNY Real Estate Salesperson License is a plusBachelor’s degree preferredCompensationCompensation range: $65,000-$95,000 annually, commensurate with experienceEligible employees may participate in a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off and sick leave, and paid holidays.
