Quality Assurance Specialist

Duration: 02 months

Shift: 1st shift - Day shift - 8-5pm

**Pay Rate: $26.00-$30.00/hr on w2**

Education:

·        Technical degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field

Must Have:

·        Minimum 2 years in quality assurance, preferably in fragrance, food, or chemical industries.

·        Knowledge of ISO 9001 and HACCP and GMP standards.

Tip 3 Skills:

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems (e.g., SAP, LIMS).

·        Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset.

·        Effective communication skills.

Additional Physical Fit Requirements: Yes, Physical, OSHA, PFT, drug screen

Interview Process: 2 rounds (Teams virtual interview then possible in Person)

Key Responsibilities:

·        Conduct Gemba walks throughout the production process to verify that fragrance batches meet specifications. This includes testing at various production stages (e.g., during mixing, before packing, HACCP).

·        Support nonconformance investigations (Z3, Z1, Z5).

·        Monitor overdue actions in the IMS and support document management control

·        Review documentation, analytical data, product specifications, and process changes/deviations before product release to ensure compliance with defined specifications. Address and resolve any concerns or discrepancies.

·        Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on product quality, trends, and challenges related to fragrance production.

·        Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, working collaboratively with operational units to ensure compliance and conduct comprehensive evaluations for investigations and process enhancements.

·        Support the 5S program within the plant.
