Responsibilities -
- Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
- Audit materials, components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and documentation through inspection, measurement, and testing.
- Document non-conformances by identifying audit failures, completing required paperwork, updating systems, and applying appropriate sign-offs or stamps.
- Handle discrepant materials per documented disposition and maintain proper system or paperwork documentation.
- Communicate audit metrics and assignment status verbally and via periodic reports.
- Perform simple statistical analysis using software applications or manual calculations.
- Train new or less experienced Quality Auditors through on-the-job and group training methods.
- Issue, store, count, and maintain inventory across designated storage areas.
- Handle, dispose, transfer, and document hazardous waste appropriately.
- Plan and organize non-routine tasks with approval.
- Maintain and initiate work schedules as required.
- Set priorities for assigned work and ensure timely completion.
- Solve a wide range of complex problems requiring the interpretation of procedures and practices.
- Select appropriate methods and practices to achieve practical and thorough solutions.
- Maintain general knowledge of organizational structure, key employees, and product lines.
Must-Have -
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work onsite on 2nd shift.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to perform inspections and follow defined procedures.
- Prior experience as a Quality Auditor or QA/QC Inspector.
- Experience working in manufacturing or medical device environments
