QA/QC Inspector - 2nd ShiftAlternate/Related Job Titles:• Quality Inspector• Quality Assurance Technician• Quality Control Specialist• Manufacturing Quality AuditorLocation:Temecula, CAOnsite Flexibility:OnsiteContract DetailsPosition Type: ContractContract Duration: 6 monthsStart: As Soon As PossiblePay Rate: $26.11/hrWork Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMKey ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools to inspect parts.QA/QC Inspector performs part inspection, failure analysis, in-process inspections, final inspections, and required audits.Ensure compliance with all Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.Audit raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and related documentation.Document non-conformances or suspected non-conformances using required paperwork, system transactions, and signatures/sign-offs.Handle discrepant materials per documented disposition processes and record required system activity.Communicate audit metrics, assignment status, and duties via reports and verbal updates.Perform basic statistical analysis using software tools or manual calculations.Train new and entry-level Quality Auditors through OJT, group sessions, and one-on-one guidance.Issue, store, count, and maintain inventory in various storage areas.Handle, dispose, transfer, and document hazardous waste appropriately.Plan and organize non-routine tasks with approval; maintain schedules and set work priorities.Solve complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of defined procedures and practices.Select appropriate methods to generate practical and effective solutions.Maintain an understanding of organizational structure, key employees, product lines, and services associated with the assigned area.Required ExperienceExperience with blueprints, inspection equipment, and QA/QC processes preferred.Ability to inspect materials and assemblies using measurement tools.Ability to handle non-conformances, audits, and documentation.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDRequired SkillsBlueprint readingMechanical inspection (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Non-conformance documentationPreferred SkillsStatistical analysisTraining and mentoring new auditorsHazardous waste handlingAdditional SkillsInventory controlReport creation and communicationAdvanced problem-solvingKnowledge of organizational structure and product linesBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the CompanyGlobal healthcare innovator dedicated to improving lives worldwide through medical devices, diagnostics, nutrition, and branded generics.
