As a Project Buyer Expeditor you will have day-to-day involvement in Procurement activity within the business to ensure efficient management of the targets needed. As a Project Buyer Expeditor you will have day-to-day involvement in Procurement activity within the business to ensure efficient management of the targets needed. How You Ll Make An Impact
- Manage a work queue and secure that Purchase Orders are issued in due time
- Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, resolve issues pertaining to invoicing/payment
- Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
- Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
- Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systems
- Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities
- Strong collaboration with global and local project management and the operational material requirements planning team to achieve most effectiveness in planning, alignment and execution
- Continuously monitor own procurement list, follow up on execution such as order confirmation, progress, compliance with quality requirements
- Support and ensure compliance with transportation and customs requirements in close collaboration with Logistics team
- Provide weekly interval schedule progress reports
- Strong SAP transactional experience
- Outstanding Excel skills
- 3 years of experience in direct procurement
- Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives
- Ability to work in a complex, fast changing global organizational environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influencing techniques, result-orientation and strategic-innovative thinking required
Salary : $28 - $30
