What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler position at Select Source International?
Title: Assembler
Location: Waltham, MA, 02453
Duration: 4 Months
Pay rate: $23.50/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6pm
The position is more focused on:
• The manager is looking for candidates with more experience in Assembly (Focus on the process that needs to be completed prior to receiving into inventory)
• Assembly small components into finished goods and stock in inventory management system (preferred). They will be assembling medical research kits, so attention to details is a must.
• Labelling finished goods, verifying components and assembling kits
• Pick/Pack/Ship finished goods for domestic and international shipments by printing and apply labels for manufactured components (not the main focus)
Qualifications:
• High school/GED level.
• Organizational and time management skills would have been gained in a fast-paced environment such as retail, hospitality, customer service, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Attention to details (Must Have)
• Assembly experience with small components is a plus (even is this experience is in other areas or industries. Example: Computer assembly, automotive, etc.)
• Experience in Bio Medical industry is preferred.
