Complete a variety of maintenance, development and operations tasks that promote the efficient production of a manufacturing plant. Their duties and responsibilities often include:
- Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery
- Setting up manufacturing equipment
- Overseeing training of new or Junior Machine Operators
- Using machine equipment to complete tasks
- Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment
- Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
Qualifications:
- Comply with and have commitment to all company Safety and Quality regulations including adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, a hat or hair net in all production areas.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Facility operating production machinery and/or equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, stand for continuous periods of time, kneel, bend, twist with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends/holidays, and overtime.
- Ability to communicate professionally and work in a team environment.
- Visually inspect product for quality defects.
- Ability to pack Bath Tissue, Kitchen Towel, Napkins into appropriate case or stack per quality standard on pallets.
- Record of stable and continuous employment.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
