Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Athletic Trainer position based in Dexter, MO. The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing care, education, and performance enhancement services to athletes. Daily tasks include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, as well as implementing strength and conditioning programs to support athletes' overall physical health and performance. The role also involves collaborating with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective care and communication.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Injury Prevention and Prevention strategies to ensure athlete safety and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation to assess and manage injuries effectively.
- Knowledge of Strength & Conditioning principles to create and implement tailored training programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification and licensure as an Athletic Trainer consistent with Missouri state regulations.
- Knowledge of sports medicine and experience working with athletes across various levels is a plus.
