A leading proprietary trading firm is seeking a Treasury Data Analyst to join its team in the Philadelphia area. This role is focused on counterparty analytics and reporting, supporting key strategic decisions across the firm. It is a highly analytical, project-driven position that combines treasury strategy, counterparty risk, and financial analysis within a fast-paced trading environment. Additionally, you will play a critical role in developing reporting frameworks and delivering insights on counterparty relationships, economics, and risk.
Responsibilities
- Analyze firm-wide balances, exposures, financing activity, trading flows, and fee structures across counterparties
- Evaluate and quantify full counterparty economics, including spreads, fees, rebates, and capital usage
- Prepare materials for credit due diligence, broker meetings, and commercial discussions
- Partner with Operations and Financing teams to assess cost attribution and relationship profitability
- Build standardized frameworks to improve comparability across funding profiles and balance sheets
- Design and develop data-driven tools, reporting frameworks, and dashboards using Python, SQL, and HTML
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services, ideally within treasury, counterparty risk, trading operations, or capital markets
- Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and HTML
- Experience building automated reporting tools, analytics, or dashboards
- Solid understanding of financial statements and capital markets concepts
