Job Title: Vice President - Investment Banking (Lifesciences Sector)

Position Overview:

With an office in SF, this firm is renowned for its deep industry knowledge, exceptional execution capabilities, and a consistent track record of advising on some of the most high-profile and complex transactions in the Lifesciences space. As part of this strategic growth initiative, the firm is looking to hire a highly experienced and driven Senior Associate/ Vice President to join its dynamic and collaborative team.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned investment banking professional to play a key leadership role in deal execution, client relationship management, and strategic advisory within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates, across various Lifesciences sub-sectors.
- Oversee the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic presentations.
- Drive the preparation of marketing materials such as pitch books, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Managing Directors and other senior bankers to originate new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on analytical work and professional development.
- Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitive dynamics within the Consumer sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in Investment Banking, with a strong emphasis on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
- Proven expertise in building complex financial models and conducting in-depth valuation analyses using methodologies such as DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing high-quality client-facing materials and transaction documentation.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, corporate finance, and deal structuring.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Salary : $225,000
