Key Responsibilities
- Execute complex M&A and strategic advisory transactions within the real estate sector
- Build and oversee detailed financial models, including valuation analyses (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, LBOs where applicable)
- Lead the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation
- Coordinate due diligence processes and interact directly with clients, counterparties, and internal teams
- Support senior bankers in originating new business opportunities
- Mentor and manage Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and development
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of total experience, with 1-2 years at the Associate level in investment banking
- Strong M&A transaction experience, ideally within real estate, REITs, or real assets sectors
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Demonstrated experience executing live deals from start to finish
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Strong academic background from a top-tier university
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Background
- Prior experience covering real estate, gaming, lodging, infrastructure, or related asset-heavy sectors
- Exposure to public and private real estate transactions, including REIT advisory, asset sales, and capital raises
