Manager / Director, Investor Relations - Marketing & Diligence (Real Estate)
Location: Boston
A global investment firm is seeking a Manager or Director to lead investor relations marketing and diligence efforts for its Real Estate platform. This role is focused on strategic communication, fundraising execution, and institutional relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fundraising processes, investor meetings, advisory boards, and annual investor events
- Collaborate with product specialists and senior leadership to shape messaging and positioning
- Develop and refine investor materials including PPMs, DDQs, presentations, and regular communications
- Manage operational due diligence and respond to investor data and information requests
- Host investor updates and diligence sessions in Boston and support on-site meetings as needed
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior team members; lead hiring and talent development
- Ensure team accountability for responsiveness, accuracy, and quality of deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functionally with investment, compliance, finance, legal, marketing, and operations teams
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of investor relations experience, ideally in private equity real estate or placement
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a client-service mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Integrity, humility, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
