A leading alternative credit investment manager is seeking an Investment Research Analyst to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fundamental credit underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and investment recommendation generation within a dedicated industry coverage vertical. The role offers direct exposure to senior investment professionals and significant responsibility from day one.
- Perform fundamental credit analysis on new issue and secondary market leveraged loan opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and downside case scenarios.
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and identify relative value opportunities.
- Conduct company, industry, sponsor, and capital structure diligence.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior investment professionals and investment committees.
- Maintain regular dialogue with management teams, private equity sponsors, sell-side research analysts, and market participants.
- Provide ongoing coverage and surveillance of assigned issuers and industries.
- Support portfolio construction, risk management, and relative value analysis across the platform.

Qualifications
- 4 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, CLO investing, high yield research, ratings, private credit, or public credit investing.
- Demonstrated expertise within Technology, Healthcare, or Non-Bank Financials.
- Strong financial modeling and credit underwriting capabilities.
- Experience analyzing leveraged loans and corporate credits.
- Ability to work independently and formulate differentiated investment views.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- CFA designation or progress toward the charter is preferred.
