We're seeking a strategic, execution‑driven Corporate Development Director to lead M&A, partnerships, and long‑range growth initiatives for a leading aerospace and defense organization. This role shapes the company's future portfolio and plays a critical part in advancing national security capabilities.
What You'll Lead
Drive full‑cycle M&A: market scanning, target evaluation, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning
Build and manage a pipeline of acquisition and partnership opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions
Partner with engineering, finance, legal, and program teams to assess technical, regulatory, and operational risks
Provide insights on defense modernization trends, federal budget priorities, and competitive dynamics
Support corporate strategy, portfolio shaping, and long‑range planning
Prepare materials for executive leadership, board reviews, and investor‑facing discussions
What You Bring
8-12 years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or strategic finance
Proven experience leading complex transactions or strategic initiatives
Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise
Ability to navigate ITAR, CFIUS, and other regulatory frameworks
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, economics, or related field
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred:
Aerospace, defense, space, or national security tech experience
Existing security clearance (Secret or higher)
MBA or relevant advanced degree
Understanding of DoD acquisition and government contracting
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
