Position Overview
Our client is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to lead business development efforts within the commercial banking segment. This role is focused on expanding client relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions, and driving cross-border growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong credit acumen and a consultative approach to client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new client relationships and deepen existing ones through strategic outreach and consultative engagement.
- Lead credit structuring efforts, including due diligence, risk assessment, and proposal development.
- Monitor and manage portfolio risk in alignment with internal credit policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare credit proposals and conduct periodic reviews to ensure credit quality and compliance.
- Cross-sell a range of financial products including treasury services, trade finance, FX, derivatives, and wealth solutions.
- Structure and support cross-border financial solutions, particularly those involving China-U.S. transactions.
- Provide market intelligence and regulatory insights to inform product development and client strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial banking, with a focus on relationship management and sales.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics in both mainland China and the U.S.
- Proven experience working with mainland-based corporate clients.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
Salary : $125,000 - $225,000
