Compensation: Base salary $180,000 - $215,000 with a ~ 20 - 40% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Location: New York, NY (Open to remote for the right candidate)
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Prepare and deliver reporting packages for senior leadership, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Partner with department heads and regional teams to gather inputs and align on financial assumptions.
- Help standardize KPIs and reporting across business units to improve consistency and transparency.
- Assist with ongoing finance transformation initiatives, including systems and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Support ad hoc analysis and strategic projects as the business scales.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
- Experience working within an insurance, financial services, or private equity-backed environment preferred.
- Strong experience with financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, or similar ERP/planning tools.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models and analyze large datasets.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
