What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Segway?
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales and marketing financial models to provide insights into customer price, volume, and mix to support revenue growth strategies.
- Assist Sales VP in developing and implementing new sales strategies and initiatives.
- Assist Sales VP in designing, implementing, and tracking sales promotion programs that align with financial goals.
- Design pricing models, including value-based pricing models, and manage the daily pricing process and pricing records in the ERP system.
- Manage daily sales promotions and marketing co-op process, and follow the internal control standards for credit memo management and accounts reconciliation.
- Track, analyze, and report daily sales performance metrics to identify and recommend areas for improvement to senior management.
- Prepare monthly sales financial report and presentation for sales and marketing to align all stakeholders’ understandings on actual to budget, actual to forecast on revenue, promotions, expenses and risk, and opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify workflow automation opportunities.
- Participate in finance projects and perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance required.
- MBA or master’s degree preferred.
- Preferably experience within the automotive, powersports, or marine industry.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Strong initiative, collaborative mindset, and ability to work and excel in a team environment.
- Experience with ERP systems with a preference towards SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
