Job Summary:
The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s overall marketing strategy across new and existing products and services. This role provides strategic leadership over brand management, go-to-market initiatives, integrated campaigns, and marketing operations, while managing budgets, agencies, and internal marketing teams. The position partners closely with Sales, E-commerce, Legal, After-Sales, and global stakeholders to drive growth, strengthen brand equity, and ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Define and manage the brand strategy to ensure consistent positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and services, including crowdfunding initiatives and major launches.
• Provide expert guidance on innovative advertising, public relations, social media, and event strategies.
• Budgeting, Analytics, and Performance Management
• Develop, administer, and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Monitor, manage, and measure marketing campaign costs and return on investment.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and marketing performance.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Plan and manage a calendar of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, and thought leadership activities.
• Oversee customer, brand, and product research initiatives to support marketing and GTM decision-making.
• Review and approve marketing content, including crowdfunding materials, promotional assets, and brand communications.
• Oversee the development and operation of the organization’s website, email marketing programs, and social media presence, including analytics review.
• Lead the production of product imagery, videos, and stills globally, with direct oversight of U.S. production efforts.
• Partner with the E-commerce team on marketing initiatives and review and approve creative assets for promotions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, After-Sales, and other internal teams to support a positive customer experience and proactively mitigate potential PR risks.
• Manage internal communications initiatives, including internal newsletters and marketing communications for the U.S. consumer team.
• Manage relationships with marketing agencies, consultants, freelancers, and other external suppliers.
• Negotiate, execute, and oversee contracts and scopes of work with external partners to ensure quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of marketing objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise the performance of each service business line/team based on goals and the effectiveness of service improvement projects.
• Coach and develop team members to improve service performance and operational efficiency.
• Responsibilities include setting service goals, outputting service reports, interviewing, recruiting, and training employees, handling complaints, and resolving issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in progressive marketing at a senior leadership role.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership responsibility, preferably in a eMobility, consumer electronics, or powersports.
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing and brand strategies across digital, retail, and experiential channels.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional marketing initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data and KPIs to drive decision-making.
• Proven people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with e-commerce marketing, content strategy, and social media management preferred.
• Strategic thinker with a high degree of ownership, execution capability, and a results-oriented approach.
• Experience working in a multinational company within an international team is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
