Job Summary:

The Spare Parts Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing spare parts inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, planning, and performance analysis to support both B2B and B2C service operations. This role ensures alignment between local warehouse stock and HQ inventory strategy, manages online sales channel performance, and drives continuous improvement in spare parts logistics and planning processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SAP and WMS platforms, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and global partners.


General Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the Inventory Turnover Rate (ITO) for local central warehouses and service store inventory; analyze and implement aging inventory and execute cleanup plans.
  • Develop and implement regional safety stock policies for central warehouses and service stores.
  • Lead root cause analysis of excess or obsolete inventory and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Design and lead inventory stocktaking plans across regional warehouses and service locations.
  • Oversee physical audits to ensure alignment between records and on-hand inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage relationships with service partners to resolve discrepancies and abnormal issues.
  • Develop long-term process and system enhancements to reduce discrepancy recurrence.
  • Implement reporting and escalation workflows across affected stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize order management processes for repair-related spare parts.
  • Set and monitor fulfillment KPIs (execution rate, delivery accuracy, on-time rate).
  • Ensure fulfillment processes align with service SLAs and operational capacity.
  • Own the spare parts e-commerce fulfillment strategy (2B & 2C).
  • Manage product listing accuracy, sales pricing, and digital channel integration.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and IT to improve customer experience and delivery performance.
  • Design region-specific spare parts forecasts using consumption data and predictive models.
  • Collaborate with HQ to align demand planning rules, timelines, and seasonal adjustments.
  • Drive decisions on inventory buffer strategies and product lifecycle planning.
  • Analyze operational performance across inventory, planning, and sales fulfillment.
  • Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives for systems improvement and workflow automation.
  • Recommend and implement tools to improve inventory visibility, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience in spare parts operations, planning, or warehouse/inventory management.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant spare parts operations, planning, or warehouse/inventory management experience, preferably in a eMobility, Consumer Electronics, or .
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to use functions for reporting and data analysis.
  • Attention to data accuracy and order completeness.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to collaborate across departments (e.g., Logistics, Call Center, Repair Service)
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.


Physical Demands:

This role involves both office and warehouse environments. The position requires prolonged periods of working on a computer, conducting inventory checks, and communicating with internal teams and vendors. Occasional lifting of boxes (up to 50 pounds) and walking within warehouse spaces may be required. Travel to service sites or partner locations may occur occasionally. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
