What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Seguin Pharmacy?
Seguin Pharmacy LLC is an independent community pharmacy licensed to provide pharmaceutical care in the city of Seguin, TX. We are currently operating under a franchise license from Healthmart Systems, Inc of Mckesson Corporation. We are looking for 1 part-time pharmacy technicians (35-40 hours per week M-F) with the possibility of transitioning to full-time within 6 months. The prospective hire will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient care to all customers. Some essential duties include data entry, filling prescriptions, maintaining merchandise levels, operating cash registers and the pharmacy computer system, and delivering prescriptions to area residents. The technician will also assist in ordering and maintaining merchandise levels as well as maintaining a clean and professional work environment. The position is initially for part-time but will transition to full-time after a probationary period.
The ideal candidate will have high school diploma with a PTCB certificate, and an ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
