Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization? Our client, a leading home services company headquartered in Sarasota, is seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of full-cycle accounting and play a key role in supporting the company’s continued expansion through acquisitions and integrations.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle full-cycle accounting—journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Manage inventory, fixed assets, and accruals.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Support M&A activity—from purchase accounting through post-close integration.
- Contribute to system implementations and process improvements across entities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track a plus).
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; PE-backed or multi-entity background ideal.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting.
- Experience with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks highly preferred.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and excited to grow with a dynamic organization.
