Senior Finance Manager – FP&A Systems & Operations
Overview
Growing organization is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and finance systems administration within a dynamic corporate finance environment. This individual will play a key role partnering across Finance, Accounting, IT, and operational leadership to improve reporting capabilities, streamline planning processes, and support ongoing systems enhancements.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of FP&A and financial systems while working within a collaborative, lean finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Serve as a functional administrator for enterprise planning and forecasting platforms
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and operational users to troubleshoot system issues and improve workflows
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting and planning processes
- Develop and maintain recurring financial reports, dashboards, and executive reporting packages
- Assist with monthly close support, variance analysis, and operational reporting
- Support financial data integrity, user maintenance, hierarchy updates, and reporting structures within planning systems
- Provide training and support to finance users across the organization
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8 years of experience within FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate finance
- Prior experience supporting or administering financial planning/budgeting systems required
- Experience with platforms such as Oracle PBCS/EPM, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, TM1, SAP BPC, or similar tools strongly preferred
- Ability to bridge Finance and systems/IT teams to support process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Strong analytical, reporting, and Excel skills
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working within large or multi-entity organizations is a plus
