Are you dependable and detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety? This temporary Fire Safety Watcher role offers steady hours and the opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-established manufacturing company. Strong performers may be considered for other long-term roles upon completion of the assignment.
POSITION – Fire Safety Watcher
JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temporary (3–4 months)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Weekend 2nd Shift (Fri–Sun, 5:00pm–5:00am; work 36 hours, paid for 40)
STARTING PAY – $18 per hour
BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, referral bonuses
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous work history with strong attendance; manufacturing experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Walk the facility to monitor for fire and safety hazards
- Complete routine safety checks and document findings on a clipboard
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all safety protocols
- Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read and write clearly for documentation purposes
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire 12-hour shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Successfully pass a basic background check and pre-employment drug screen
