Maintenance Mechanic

Position – Maintenance Mechanic
Job Location – Milwaukee, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $25 - 38 per hour
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED and Technical College or Journeyman's Apprenticeship
Required Experience – At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance or Manufacturing along with Journeyman's Apprenticeship
Responsibilities
-Install, repair, build, and maintain heavy duty and highly complex machines
-Perform fitting and aligning of bearings, spindles, and shafts
-Layout repair parts, set-up and operate machines to ensure they are in working order
-Perform installation of new machinery and equipment
-Other duties as needed
Qualifications
-Must have Journeyman Apprenticeship plus 4-5 years of experience
-Knowledge of mechanics, machine design, machining practices and techniques, advanced shop mathematics, job layout, and measuring procedures.
-Knowledge/experience with measuring tools: scale, micrometers, levels, etc.
-Ability to work with blueprints, drawings, etc.
