CNC Machinist | Set-Up & Programming
Milwaukee, WI
Pay: $23 to $28 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time | 1st shift

What you’ll be doing
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Perform milling, turning, and machining operations to print
- Make offsets, tool changes, and minor program edits as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect finished parts using standard measuring tools to ensure quality
- Troubleshoot machining or setup issues to keep production running smoothly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area
- Communicate with leads and supervisors on production or quality concerns
What we’re looking for
Required:
- Hands-on experience with CNC lathes and/or mills
- Comfortable with machine setup and part changeovers
- Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred but not required:
- Programming experience or the ability to make minor program edits
- Experience with both small and large CNC equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
