Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with great pay and room to learn new skills? We are hiring a Furnace Operator for a growing die casting foundry! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys physical, hands-on work and wants to learn the foundry industry.
No foundry experience? No problem! The company is willing to train the right candidate. Manufacturing experience is ideal, along with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
POSITION – Furnace Operator
JOB LOCATION – Grafton, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift
STARTING PAY – $23.50/hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous manufacturing experience is ideal, but willing to train the right candidate! Foundry or furnace experience is a plus.
Job Duties:
- Operate and monitor industrial furnaces used in the die casting process.
- Clean out and maintain furnaces to keep production running safely and efficiently.
- Pour molten metal according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Perform quality testing and inspections of materials and finished products.
- Monitor temperatures and production processes.
- Transport materials throughout the facility as needed for production and shipping.
- Band and secure finished materials for shipment.
- Assist with material handling and general production duties as needed.
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures when working around high-temperature equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment.
What We're Looking For:
- Manufacturing experience is ideal, but willing to train!
- Previous foundry, furnace, metalworking, or die casting experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working in a hot, industrial manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on work.
- Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when performing quality testing.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
