Welder / Metal Fabricator Level 1

1st Shift | Monday through Friday | 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

What you’ll be doing
- Fabricate and weld structural metal components using MIG welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and shop sketches
- Run your own fabrication projects from layout through final weld
- Operate press brakes, rolls, saws, and other fabrication equipment
- Grind, clean, and finish parts to spec
- Troubleshoot fit-up or assembly issues as they come up
- Follow safety standards and keep a clean, organized work area
What we’re looking for
Required:
- 3 or more years of MIG welding and metal fabrication experience
- Comfortable reading blueprints and multiple drawing formats, including CAD
- Experience with shop tools and equipment such as forklifts, press brakes, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, including overhead lifting
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a weld and fit-up test
Preferred but not required:
- Welding certification
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and weld for a full shift
- Good vision, including depth perception and close focus
- Ability to safely lift heavy materials above shoulder height
