POSITION – Brake Press Operator
JOB LOCATION – Port Washington, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday 3:30pm to 1:30am (4-day work week)
STARTING PAY – $20 to $22 per hour
BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Metal stamping or prior machine operating experience is a plus
As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press equipment to form and shape metal components according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys precision work and staying active throughout their shift.
Responsibilities
Operate brake press machines
- Read and interpret work orders and basic blueprints
- Form and bend metal parts to specifications
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Use basic measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Prior machine operating or metal stamping experience is a plus
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime when available
