POSITION – Machine Operator Floater (Bilingual English/Spanish)
JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-Term, Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday)
STARTING PAY – $15.00–$20.00/hour DOE

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Manufacturing or production experience preferred, mechanical knowledge required; bilingual English/Spanish required
In this role, you will serve as a key support across multiple departments, assisting with production, machine operation, and communication between teams. A large part of this position involves translating and helping facilitate clear communication—especially with the Maintenance team—regarding tools, parts, and production needs. This employer is looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and stay long-term while developing skills across multiple areas.
Responsibilities:
This position includes a variety of production, support, and communication duties, including but not limited to:
• Translate between English and Spanish for maintenance, production, and warehouse teams
• Assist Maintenance team with communication regarding tools, parts, sizes, and specifications
• Support machine operators, assemblers, and forklift drivers as needed
• Operate machinery and assist in production processes when required
• Learn and reference Factory Order Books to understand products and customer requirements
• Assist with assembly tasks such as placing caps, bottoms, or fasteners on barrels
• Perform general cleanup, sorting, and organizing of materials
• Maintain workflow efficiency across departments
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
• Fluent in Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• Ability to lift 15–22 lbs. regularly (never exceeding 50 lbs.)
• Comfortable working in a warm environment (no AC; fans and ventilation provided)
• Self-motivated with a willingness to cross-train and learn multiple roles
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams
Additional Information:
• Training will be completed onsite with experienced team members
• Overtime is voluntary and would be working 5-10's or 5-12's
• Time and a half paid after 40 hours; double time paid after 10 hours in a day
