Position Summary
SEED Development & Design is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative Design Coordinator to support our design team and help bring our clients' visions to life. This role blends design assistance with project coordination, ensuring a seamless experience from initial concept and selections through construction.

Key Responsibilities
Design Support
- Assist with the development of design concepts, space planning, and material selections.
- Create and update design presentations, mood boards, and client-facing materials.
- Research products, finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and building materials.
- Prepare specification sheets and selection documentation.
- Support designers during client meetings and selection appointments.
Project Coordination
- Assist with drafting and revising plans, elevations, and design details.
- Coordinate and track client selections, approvals, and project documentation.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure all design information is accurate and up to date.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers regarding product availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Request samples and maintain the design library and showroom materials.
- Coordinate scheduling for client meetings, showroom visits, and selection appointments.
- Support communication between clients, designers, project managers, and trade partners.
Administrative Support
- Manage project-related information within company systems and software.
- Assist with gathering product pricing and specification information for estimates and proposals.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project records.
- Support the team with miscellaneous administrative and project coordination responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in residential design, interior design, architecture, or construction preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Experience with design software is preferred; experience with Revit is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
