Account Manager – HVAC Equipment & Supplies
Location: Waterbury, CT
Pay: $20–$30/hour Commission
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Our client, a well-established HVAC equipment and supplies distributor, is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join their growing team in Waterbury, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building long-term relationships with HVAC contractors, mechanical professionals, and commercial customers.
You'll manage existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and help customers find the right HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to keep their projects moving. If you have HVAC industry knowledge and enjoy outside sales with unlimited earning potential, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing HVAC contractor accounts.
- Prospect and generate new business throughout the assigned territory.
- Recommend HVAC equipment, parts, and supply solutions based on customer needs.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with inside sales, warehouse, and vendor partners to ensure outstanding customer service.
- Meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals.
- Stay current on HVAC products, pricing, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, industrial, or building materials distribution preferred.
- HVAC product knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with computers and CRM or ERP systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
