Marketing & Social Media Coordinator
Location: Dubuque, IA
Job Type: Full-Time Monday- Friday
$21 - $25 / hour
A well-established Dubuque organization is seeking a creative and organized Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help tell the company’s story through engaging digital content. This position will manage day-to-day social media activities while assisting with photography, video, website updates, graphic design, and marketing projects.
The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who enjoys social media, photography, videography, writing, and creating content that connects people with a company's work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain social media accounts, primarily Facebook and Instagram
- Develop and maintain a content calendar
- Create social media posts, stories, reels, and short-form videos
- Photograph and capture video of projects, properties, employees, and events
- Write social media captions and basic website/blog content
- Create simple graphics and marketing materials
- Assist with website content updates
- Support marketing campaigns, projects, events, and company initiatives
- Monitor social media engagement and basic analytics
- Work with various departments to identify content opportunities
- Assist with marketing projects and campaigns
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram
- Strong photography and visual storytelling skills
- Experience with videography and video editing
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Basic graphic design skills
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working with people and capturing content in a variety of settings
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
