What are the responsibilities and job description for the Burglar Alarm Technician position at Security Surveillance System?

TECHNICIANS WILL / DUTIES
✓Install, service, and upgrade burglar alarm and surveillance systems in residential and commercial buildings
✓Manage installations from start to finish
✓ Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
✓ Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels
✓ Provide training to customers on how to use and operate alarm and camera systems effectively
✓ Collaborate with team members to design and implement customized alarm and surveillance solutions for clients
✓ Operate company vehicles to complete work on, and of property (Scissor lift, Boom lift, etc.).
✓ Provide flawless service!
Qualifications/Requirements
✓ MUST have a minimum of 3 years’ technical experience with burglar alarm devices
✓ Must be able to complete an installation from start to finish including the programming of the devices
✓ Ability to work independently or as part of a team
✓ Must be able to carry a 20 ft. ladder and lift up to 35 lbs, operate scissor and boom lift
✓ Experience With IP-based Camera System Is Preferred
✓ Experience with Access Control System is preferred
✓ Networking experience to configure and program networking devices such as wireless access points, routers, modems, switches, and NVRs is preferred
✓ Ability to service, install & upgrade computer/DVR/NVR software(s) and hardware(s), firmware(s) is preferred

Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
