Role Description The Fire Alarm Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and servicing fire alarm systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing system faults, completing service reports, and communicating findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams. The technician will respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, coordinate with project managers and electricians on installations or upgrades, and maintain tools, test equipment, and parts inventory. The role also involves following safety procedures, adhering to company policies, and representing Yeti Ark Electric in a professional, customer-focused manner at all times.

Qualifications
- Strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including preventive maintenance and corrective work on fire alarm and related low-voltage systems.
- Proficient Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose system issues, interpret test results, and identify effective solutions.
- Field Service experience, including working independently at customer sites, managing schedules, and documenting work performed.
- Customer Service skills to communicate clearly with clients, explain technical findings, and provide respectful, professional support.
- General Maintenance capabilities for electrical components, devices, and system hardware in a variety of building environments.
- Knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 72) and familiarity with common fire alarm panels and devices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Comfort working on ladders and in diverse jobsite conditions, with adherence to all safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites within the Denver area.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in fire alarm or low-voltage systems (e.g., NICET) are strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a fire alarm technician, low-voltage technician, or electrician is beneficial.
