Role Overview

Security Engineers seeks Unarmed Access Control Security Officers to support safety and access-controlled site security. Officers deter incidents through patrol, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, responding to alarms, and completing required reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Security Officer/Guard License (state required)
• Minimum 18 years of age

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas
• Monitor and control access points, doors, and gates
• Verify IDs, badges, and visitor credentials
• Operate basic access control and surveillance systems
• Prevent unauthorized entry and tailgating
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Complete daily activity and incident reports
• Enforce Post Orders and site security policies
• Assist employees and visitors professionally

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong situational awareness
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Basic computer/tablet reporting skills
• Availability for weekends and varied shifts

Physical Requirements

• Stand or sit 1 hour
• Walk ½ mile
• Climb facility stairs

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior security or customer service experience preferred
