Job Summary

EOS Business Surveillance Solutions || A Security 101 Company is recruiting for a Commercial Electronic Security Installation Technician that has experience installing commercial IP-cameras and wireless access points for construction projects and modifications for existing security systems. This role requires 50% travel of no more than 2 weeks per project.

Salary And Benefits

Salary: This is a full-time position with a wage range of $22 to $25 per hour, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

When Traveling: All travel and Airbnb expenses and $60 food per diem.

The Right Candidate

Installation technicians must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience installing commercial IP-based video systems and wireless access points.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ basic programming of IP addresses for cameras.
• Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
• Installation technicians must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customers’ satisfaction.
• Ubiquiti wireless access point installation.
• Candidates must be able to operate an Aerial/Boom lift.
• Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.
  
  

Current certification or proficiency in one of the following is a plus:

• Access Control: PDK,
• Cameras: Digital Watchdog Axis,
• Alarm: DMP, Honeywell, DSC.
• OSHA: 10 or 30 certified.
• Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate.
  
  

Responsibilities

Must possess effective communication skills. Ability to read blueprints. Proper cable installation practices. Troubleshooting and problem solving.

Successfully demonstrate installation, termination, test and perform maintenance on the following hardware.

• IP Cameras
• NVR's and DVR's
  
  

Education

• High School (or GED) minimum requirement.
• Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred).
