Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, personnel, and technology of the GSOC to ensure continuous monitoring, analysis, and response to security events that may impact company personnel, facilities, assets, and operations. This position leads the GSOC team in identifying threats, coordinating incident response, and providing actionable intelligence to support organizational safety and operational resilience. The GSOC Manager ensures effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners while maintaining operational standards, policies, and procedures that support enterprise security and risk management programs.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, develop, and supervise GSOC personnel including analysts and supervisors, encompassing staffing, scheduling, shift coverage, training, and professional development.
- Monitor global security threats, incidents, and risks through oversight of security monitoring systems, intelligence platforms, video management systems, access control platforms, and mass notification tools.
- Direct incident detection, escalation, response coordination, and crisis management activities, including support to business continuity and emergency management initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and update GSOC Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and operational protocols.
- Ensure proper documentation, post-incident reviews, and analysis of security events, incorporating recommended improvements to procedures and systems.
- Produce intelligence reports, threat assessments, daily security briefings, and situational awareness reports for leadership.
- Coordinate response efforts and maintain relationships with corporate security, facilities, IT, HR, executive leadership, law enforcement, emergency services, and security vendors.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Track operational metrics and prepare performance reports for leadership.
- Maintain flexibility for 24/7 operational demands including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
What You Bring:
- US citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Intelligence Studies, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in security operations, intelligence, risk management, or emergency response.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), GSOC, or command center environment preferred.
- Experience with incident management, crisis response, or intelligence analysis.
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Strong ability to lead teams, resolve issues, and maintain professional relationships
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and other computer applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
