Senior Technician - Electrical, $25-40/hour

Key Responsibilities:Assemble, install, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, harnesses, circuit boards, sensors, and avionics components for aerospace systems.Perform diagnostics on electrical systems to identify malfunctions, component failures, and performance issues.Conduct functional and continuity testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized aerospace testing equipment.Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.Support engineering teams with prototype builds, system integrations, and design improvements.Document test results, repairs, and modifications according to aerospace quality standards (AS9100, FAA, etc.).Ensure compliance with safety protocols, ESD handling procedures, and industry-specific electrical standards.Assist in the calibration, repair, and maintenance of electrical test equipment.Collaborate with mechanical, avionics, and engineering teams to support production schedules and technical problem-solving.Skills & Qualifications:Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, wiring, and avionics fundamentals.Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).Ability to read and interpret aerospace electrical documentation.Knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or similar standards preferred.Experience with soldering, harness fabrication, and electrical assembly.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment.Company DescriptionSecureTek Solutions (STS) is a full-service consulting firm that specializes in providing Engineering and Technical consulting services, throughout the U.S., in the Manufacturing, Architecture, Engineering, Utility and Construction.Our team of Engineering & Technology recruiting specialists can provide personalized services, to fit the changing needs of both our job seeking candidates, and our corporate clients.
