Flatbed Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Flatbed Truck Driver to operate an 18-foot flatbed truck, transporting manufacturing raw materials to customer sites. This role involves primarily local deliveries with consistent routes and predictable scheduling. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and experienced in safe material handling and transportation.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate an 18-foot flatbed truck to deliver raw materials to customer locations.Complete primarily local routes, with two days per week requiring a 2.5-hour drive each way.Load and secure materials in accordance with company and DOT safety standards.Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip and report any maintenance needs.Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including signatures, delivery logs, and material counts.Maintain professional communication with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.Assist with basic material handling tasks when needed.QualificationsValid driver’s license; clean driving record.Experience driving flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.Ability to safely secure loads using straps, chains, or other tie-down methods.Strong time-management skills and reliability with scheduled routes.Ability to lift and maneuver materials as needed.Good communication and customer-service skills.Work ScheduleFull-time, primarily local driving.Two days per week involve longer-distance routes (approximately 2.5 hours one way).Company DescriptionSecureTek Solutions (STS) is a full-service consulting firm that specializes in providing Engineering and Technical consulting services, throughout the U.S., in the Architecture, Engineering, Utility and Construction.Our team of Engineering & Technology recruiting specialists can provide personalized services, to fit the changing needs of both our job seeking candidates, and our corporate clients.
