HVAC Controls Applications Engineer
We're seeking an HVAC Controls Applications Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on designing and implementing building automation and HVAC control systems. This role is ideal for someone with experience in HVAC controls, AutoCAD, and construction documents who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC and building automation control systems.
- Prepare control submittal packages, including wiring diagrams, flow diagrams, sequences of operation, bills of materials, and equipment schedules.
- Review project scope with project managers and develop design plans.
- Coordinate design reviews with engineering and project management teams.
- Provide technical support to field personnel during installation and update drawings as needed.
- Prepare as-built documentation and operation & maintenance manuals upon project completion.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience using AutoCAD to create control system drawings.
- Experience designing HVAC control or building automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working independently or as part of a team.
