Purchase Order Clerk, $25/hr

The Purchase Order Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the procurement operations of a manufacturing company. Working within a small team, this position focuses on processing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, tracking orders, and coordinating inventory to ensure smooth supply chain management. The role requires proficiency in ERP software and strong organizational skills to maintain accuracy and efficiency in purchasing activities.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders accurately and timely using the ERP system
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to confirm order details and resolve issues
• Track order status and update relevant records in coordination with inventory
• Coordinate inventory requirements to align with purchasing schedules
• Maintain detailed and accurate data entry for purchase orders and transactions

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years experience in purchasing or procurement
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with purchase order management and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Inventory management knowledge
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
