We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC/Rolling Machinery and associated equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC or Metal Forming processes and equipment, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Commissioning: Set up and commission new machinery and auxiliary equipment at customer locations.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in molding equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Documentation: Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and parts requisitions.
- Travel: Travel to customer sites regularly (local, regional, or national depending on role).
- Compliance: Adhere to safety standards, company policies, and customer site requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1 years of hands-on experience with field service.
- Field service or in-plant technician experience preferred.
- Electrical troubleshooting and control systems experience highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, heaters, sensors, and control systems is a plus.
- Education:
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
